Wineries

After an exciting and successful event in 2011, we are planning our 2012 Annual Wine Walk for April 27-28, 2012! Intentionally, this is a local event, showcasing Texas wine, and wine related products and food. We are going to continue to utilize the small cluster arrangement around downtown Granbury. The court house project is complete so that should tie things together nicely. Each cluster will provide an experience to the participants. We will again tie the festival together with common events and music. The VIP cookoff will happen on Thursday night this year. There should be some opportunity to partner up with your wine during this event if you are interested. The functionality of the wine pick up location was well received and will be in place. We will be providing glasses and tagging participants that will be tasting your wines. We would expect 3 or 4 types of wines per winery. We would also like to know if you will need volunteers.

Registrants will get: * Inclusion to our website including a link to yours * ½ ounce pour spouts to adhere to that serving size. * A prime location at one of the clusters * The functionality of the wine pickup store. * Reimbursement of wine for tastings * An opportunity to participate in the Thursday night food gala

Wine Walk Hours: 12-8pm both Friday and Saturday.

Registration: * Registration fee is $100

Requirements: *Festival permit * Set up begins 2 hours prior to shift. * You will need to provide a tent (approx 10 by 10) and the appropriate tables, chairs, coolers etc. * A TDA banner or one similar * proof of Liability insurance * Information on wines to facilitate the wine pickup function. * Must stay for entire shifts. * No-show forfeit registration fee.

Deadlines: * Initial response by 1/31/2012.

Of course, the sooner that we have your commitment, the sooner we can plug you in! We are excited to offer this venue again, since visitors asked many times when to expect the next wine walk. Please share any ideas you have to make this an even better event.
